Claire A. Lawson Ames aspires to introduce the new face of Africa to the world through her designs

CHAMPLIN, MN, November 5, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Claire A. Lawson Ames, Chief Executive Officer for Clara Design LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fashion design.

With 22 years of professional experience, Ms. Lawson Ames specializes in women's fashion and in the utilization of traditional African material for modern designs. She is responsible for overseeing product development, designing Haute Couture clothes and accessories, and managing business operations. In addition to clothing and accessories, Clara Design LLC also offers hairdressing and beauty treatments. Prior to finding her niche in fashion, Ms. Lawson Ames worked in the airline industry for 13 years. She was inspired to become involved in the design industry by her grandmother, who was a designer, and she attributes her success to her faith in God, poise, hard work and strive to achieve her goals.

Ms. Lawson Ames is currently training in Fashion Design, and she obtained a diploma in International Business and Trade in France in 1988. Originally from West Africa, she has been educated in both France and Switzerland. She is also a recipient of the South African Fashion Design Award.
