Fashionistas from around the world will be heading to Singapore next month for the city's Fashion Festival.

SINGAPORE, March 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anyone who has an eye for fashion or who enjoys keeping up with the latest trends should think about booking into accommodation in Singapore at the end of April.

For five days from April 28th, the city will host its fashion festival, which is open to anyone, unlike many similar events around the world.

Visitors will be treated to a host of catwalk shows from top designers, as well as being able to rub shoulders with the top names in the industry.

Most of the action takes place in the official Tent at Orchard, which also has a big screen hanging outside to allow anyone who was not lucky enough to get tickets to see some of the action.

The first show takes place at 19:00 (local time) on April 28th, with a host of design houses and brands lined up to display their wares on the catwalk over the following days.

Mango, Swarovski and Tiffany are among the big names that will be parading down the runway for spectators to enjoy.

Tickets for the shows will be on sale from the beginning of next month and all the action will be centred on the city's Orchard Road.
