Contemporary Womenswear Line IDFINE To Launch This Fall at WWD MAGIC Aug 22-24
Beginning with the F/W 2011 season, IDFine provides four different styling categories: casual, professional, romantic and trendy, offering a wide variety of tops, denim, casual pants, dresses, sweaters and jackets.

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- IDF is a contemporary womenswear line that embraces the independent woman—one who is fashion-forward and modern. Debuting its F/W 2011 Collection at MAGIC in Las Vegas, Aug. 21 through 24, IDF celebrates classic silhouettes and feminine colors with young contemporary price points.

Under the guidance of Blumarine's Anna Molinari, IDF's Korean designer, Wonyoung Kim, has embraced a romantic and feminine aesthetic—one that draws inspiration from various cultures around the world. Having attended school in Italy, Kim was one of only five students selected to join Blumarine. After five years in Italy, Kim turned to the charm of original Chinese culture and joined Hongdou Group, coordinating the design and overall concept of IDF.


"I am partial to a feminine and romantic style--the combination of traditional and modern. After working and studying in Italy for five years, the unique art of the Italian temperament has seeped into my psyche and that aesthetic in my work comes out unconsciously," said Kim.

Originally established in 2001, IDF has become one of the largest womenswear brands in the Far East, having opened over 200 boutiques and featured in major department stores. Naturally, the next step was to penetrate the American womenswear market. Under the creative direction of IDF's Los Angeles-based team, as well as Wonyoung Kim, IDFine was established; defining women as independent, confident and always chic.
